In April, 2018, owner Jacquelyn began braiding children's hair at local festivals. She quickly found herself traveling to birthday parties and hosting pop-up hairstyling classes for parents. After several successful months, she began renting a few small rooms in The Regal on Queen Street, as to better cater to her clients. Jacquelyn very quickly noticed that the community was keen to experience a new perspective in the hair and beauty sector. Her clients loved coming in with a friend for double pedicures and bringing their little ones for glittery birthday parties and mummy & me nails. Jacquelyn's prior experience working internationally in luxury spas and on cruise ships, gained her expert knowledge and skill that drew in her customers, but she believes a friendly disposition and welcoming atmosphere brought them back time and time again.
In March of 2020, Jacquelyn took control of the entire first floor of The Regal with a mind to open a luxury day spa. Moments later, the Pandemic hit and the spa was born into the most challenging era most small businesses have ever experienced. Thanks to the generous community, skilled local trades, & talented colleagues Younger Day Spa launched with a bang in July of 2020 and has enjoyed consistent success thus far. In addition to growing into one of the areas leading luxury spas, creating multiple new jobs and rental spaces for new businesses, and volunteering in community events and schools, Jacquelyn and her team have also won multiple awards at the local and national levels. Jacquelyn is thrilled to continue providing the ultimate in guest services and using her 20 years of industry experience to mentor the next generation of talent. She is grateful for the space to nurture spa guests from near and far and looks forward to the growth and innovations sure to come!
